Na v pořadí sedmou cenu města byli nominováni dva lidé

Žďár nad Sázavou / Mezi dvěma platnými nominacemi se bude rozhodovat v souvislosti s udělením další Ceny města Žďáru nad Sázavou. Prvním nominovaným je spisovatel Zdeněk Vyhlídal, jenž sepsal více než třicet knih, dále i rozhlasové nebo televizní hry či filmové scénáře. Petr Bednář, druhý nominovaný na ocenění města, se již více než tři desetiletí ve svém volném čase věnuje výchově skautů a od roku 2004 je kapitánem přístavu Racek. Cenu města Žďáru nad Sázavou, která je udělována od roku 2016, mohou získat jeho obyvatelé za významné zásluhy v oblastech kultury, sportu, vzdělávání, vědy a ve veřejném životě či za mimořádné činy spojené s osobním hrdinstvím, které znamenaly záchranu života a zdraví občanů města.
