Obdobné práce budou pokračovat v roce 2021 i 2022 v dalších částech sídliště. Na dolní části ulic Pelikánova, Makovského a Špálova se dostane v roce 2021. V dalším roce budou rekonstruovány Slavíčkova, Blažíckova a Jamborova ulice. Na Vodojemu se pracovalo už v letech 2017 a 2018, kdy se podobným způsobem rekonstruovaly ulice Kavánova, Mánesova a Alšo­va.

Rekonstrukce v letech 2020 až 2022 vyjde na 118,5 milionu korun včetně DPH. Celkového dokončení se obyvatelé Vodojemu dočkají v říjnu 2022.
